I started playing volleyball after watching my older sister compete. We played our high school and club careers in Mesa, Arizona. I was fortunate enough to play for a high school team that won the state championship and was top 10 nationally ranked. My sister went on to play for the University of Utah and I went on to play for the University of Washington.

My husband and I met on the volleyball court and we continued playing until our children arrived. Once our kids hit school age I retired for a time and focused on our family. When our oldest daughter asked to play volleyball in the 5th grade I decided I would get into coaching in our home town of Monroe.

I coached in the rec level for a few years before both of our girls ventured into club. I followed their lead and began coaching for WVBA in 2004. That same year I was asked to join the coaching staff at Monroe High School. I am now the head coach at Monroe High School and at Monroe Middle school.

To keep my days busy and pay the bills I run my own house cleaning service. I much prefer to disclose that I am a volleyball coach rather then a "toilet scrubber". I feel very fortunate that I have been able to run my business during the day allowing me to pursue my coaching career in the afternoons and evenings.

Our older daughter Kylin is playing for the University of Washington and our younger daughter Kendal is playing for Monroe High School and WVBA with hopes of a college career of her own.

Professional
Currently running my own housecleaning business.

Personal
Unfortunately, interior design is only a hobby for now until my children are out of the house. I will then complete my degree and practice in that field. I love to be creative and do many kinds of artwork.
