My passion for the game developed my senior year in high school when I was asked by Raynani Reinhardt (one of the WVBA founders) to play for Seattle Juniors. I had no idea by accepting a position on this team that the game would bring lifetime friends, a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters.

After club I continued my volleyball career at Portland State University. At PSU I was an All-American and a member of the 1988 National Championship team along with another WVBA coach and close friend Kari Kockler. A recent highlight was the induction of that '88 team into the PSU Hall of Fame.

Once my senior year of college was over I moved back to Seattle and took a coaching position for Evergreen Juniors. The team I was coaching ended up finishing that year at Festival in Davis, which is where I met my husband Christopher, who was working as an official that year. Upon my return home from Davis I packed my bags and relocated to Livermore, CA to be with Christopher.

While in California I coached for Bay Club out of San Jose for a year and during this time became aware of an indoor professional volleyball league. I was invited to join the San Jose Storm as a defense specialist and played two years before returning back home to Seattle with Christopher.

Upon my arrival in Seattle I connected back up with Raynani to thank her for believing in me as an athlete. It was during this conversation when Raynani asked me to come back and coach for a program that she was working on with Dave Weitl and Diane Flick. At first I just did what I did back when I was a club player for Raynani and said yes because if you know Raynani you just say yes. I am thankful I said yes because coaching here at WVBA has provided me an opportunity to share my passion for the game. So thank you to my peers, parents and players for providing the foundation of sharing my passion year after year.

Professional
I currently work for GE Healthcare Technologies as a Service Sales Operation Specialist for the West Zone territory.

Personal
I am married to Christopher Pratt and we have two wonderful daughters Mikala (11) and Cierra (9). When I am not coaching I can be found in a gym supporting my husband's high school volleyball team or out in the rain watching my two daughters play soccer and lacrosse.
